TERRITORY 08 · DARK TECHNICAL-EDITORIAL
Frontier
SIGNATURE DEVICE — “the Live Wire”
A W&W graphic is the one with the live wire — a single hairline of confident azure that travels a quiet slate field and terminates in one filled node. The dark is the surface; the accent is the signal. It pops by contrast and craft, never by glow.
Palette — “Cold Frontier”
Type — Space Grotesk (display + body) · Newsreader italic (one warm note) · JetBrains Mono (data spine)
Strategy that ships, kept live.
Set in Space Grotesk — a grotesque with engineered, slightly-mechanical detailing that reads frontier-technical without tipping into SaaS. Chosen over a serif because the register here is instrument, not manuscript; the one drop of editorial warmth comes from a single Newsreader italic word carried in the accent hue. Everything else holds in soft white on quiet slate.
